Climate Change Policy

As ASBİLEK, recognizing the environmental, economic, and social impacts of climate change, we are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions arising from our activities, effectively managing climate-related risks, and supporting the transition to a low-carbon business model. In line with our sustainable growth objectives, we aim to integrate climate change mitigation and adaptation into all our processes. Within this scope: 1. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management Greenhouse gas emissions arising from our activities (Scope 1, Scope 2, and, where applicable, Scope 3) are regularly calculated and monitored. Emission reduction targets are established, and action plans are implemented in line with these targets. Carbon footprint calculations are carried out and reported in accordance with the ISO 14064 standard. 2. Energy Efficiency and Low-Carbon Operations Projects aimed at improving energy efficiency are developed and implemented. The use of renewable energy sources is encouraged. Energy management activities are carried out in alignment with the TS ISO 50001 standard. 3. Management of Climate Risks and Opportunities Physical and transition risks, including climate-related disasters, regulatory changes, and carbon costs, are analyzed. The impacts of climate change on business continuity are assessed, and necessary measures are taken. Opportunities for developing low-carbon products and services are evaluated. 4. Sustainable Supply Chain Suppliers are expected to adopt responsible and environmentally friendly practices in the fight against climate change. Collaborations aimed at reducing the carbon footprint throughout the supply chain are developed. Emission-reducing solutions are encouraged in logistics processes. 5. Compliance with Legislation and International Frameworks Full compliance with national and international climate change legislation and regulations is ensured. Transparent reporting is carried out in accordance with TSRS, GRI, and relevant sustainability reporting standards. Carbon regulations, including CBAM, and sector-specific requirements are closely monitored. 6. Awareness and Corporate Culture Employees are provided with training on climate change, carbon management, and sustainability. Environmental responsibility awareness and a low-carbon culture are promoted throughout the organization. Employees are encouraged to contribute to climate-friendly practices. 7. Continuous Improvement and Performance Monitoring Climate performance is regularly monitored and reported using defined performance indicators. Performance evaluations are conducted in line with established targets. Continuous improvement is ensured through internal audits and management reviews.
