Major Accident Prevention Policy

At ASBİLEK, the safety of our employees, suppliers, visitors, and the environment in which we operate is our top priority. We adopt a proactive approach to identify potential hazards in our production processes, prevent these hazards from turning into major accidents, and minimize their possible impacts.

Within this scope, we commit:

  • Identifying and controlling chemical, physical, or technical risks that may lead to major industrial accidents in advance,
  • Keeping risk analyses up-to-date, identifying hazards specific to new processes and equipment, and establishing preventive systems,
  • Preparing emergency plans to prevent potential accidents, testing them, and reinforcing them through regular drills,
  • Providing continuous training to our employees and subcontractors on major accident awareness, safely working techniques, and emergency management,
  • Actively maintaining reporting and evaluating systems that identify and correct potentially hazardous situations before incidents occur,
  • Keeping the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for substances used in our activities up to date, and ensuring safe storage, transportation, and disposal,
  • Ensuring full compliance with all relevant legal regulations and national/international best practices,
  • Promoting a safety culture that is open to feedback throughout the organization, encouraging all employees to actively participate in risk reporting and improvement processes,
  • Working in transparent cooperation with relevant public authorities to protect public health and minimize environmental impacts of major accidents.

We pledge to uphold these commitments.
