Sustainable Procurement Policy

As ASBİLEK, we are committed to managing our procurement processes, which are an integral part of our operations, in line with environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles through a responsible, transparent, and ethical approach. We aim to create sustainable value together with all our business partners throughout our supply chain. Within this scope: 1. Environmental Responsibility Environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, recyclable products and services with a low carbon footprint are preferred in procurement processes. The efficient use of natural resources is taken into consideration, and procurement solutions aimed at reducing water, energy, and raw material consumption are supported. Suppliers are expected to comply with environmental legislation and, where possible, to have environmental management systems such as ISO 14001. 2. Ethical and Transparent Procurement All procurement activities are carried out in accordance with the principles of fair competition, equality, transparency, and integrity. Objective criteria are applied in supplier selection, and conflicts of interest are avoided. A zero-tolerance approach is adopted toward corruption, bribery, and unethical practices. 3. Social Responsibility and Human Rights Suppliers are expected to respect human rights, protect employee rights, and provide fair working conditions. Child labor, forced labor, discrimination, and similar practices are strictly prohibited. The effective implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices is encouraged. 4. Supplier Evaluation and Development Suppliers are evaluated based on quality, environmental performance, occupational health and safety, sustainability, and ethical criteria. Supplier performance is regularly monitored, and cooperation is established to support continuous improvement. Suppliers that comply with sustainability criteria and demonstrate progress in this area are prioritized. 5. Local and Sustainable Supply Chain Local suppliers and companies engaged in sustainable production are supported. Logistics and procurement strategies aimed at reducing carbon emissions throughout the supply chain are adopted. A sustainable supply structure is established through long-term business partnerships. 6. Risk Management and Compliance Supply chain risks, including environmental, social, and operational risks, are analyzed during procurement processes, and necessary measures are taken. Full compliance with national and international legislation, standards, and customer requirements is ensured. Alternative sourcing plans are developed to ensure supply chain continuity. 7. Continuous Improvement and Awareness Procurement teams and relevant employees are provided with training on sustainable procurement, ethical trade, and environmental awareness. This policy is regularly reviewed and improved in line with internal audits, performance indicators, and supplier feedback.
