Water Efficiency Policy

As ASBİLEK, recognizing that water is a limited and critical natural resource, we are committed to ensuring its efficient, effective, and sustainable use throughout our operations. By integrating water management into all of our operational processes, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and fulfill our responsibility to future generations. Within this scope: 1. Efficient Use of Water Resources Water consumption is monitored, measured, and analyzed across all our activities. Technical and operational improvements are implemented to reduce water usage. Systems are developed to prevent water losses and leakages. 2. Water Efficiency and Technological Applications The use of water-efficient equipment and fixtures is encouraged. The feasibility of greywater and rainwater recovery systems is evaluated. The use of alternative water sources in operational processes is explored. 3. Compliance with Legislation and Standards Full compliance with national and international water management legislation is ensured. A systematic management approach is adopted in line with the requirements of the TS ISO 46001 Water Efficiency Management System. Environmental impacts are analyzed through water footprint assessments in accordance with ISO 14046. 4. Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement Suppliers are expected to demonstrate awareness of and compliance with water efficiency principles. Cooperation with business partners and stakeholders is encouraged on water efficiency initiatives. Practices aimed at reducing water consumption throughout the supply chain are supported. 5. Risk Management and Continuity Risks related to water resources, including drought, supply interruptions, and water quality, are analyzed. Alternative water sources and action plans are developed to ensure water supply continuity. Water management plans are established for emergency situations. 6. Awareness and Training Employees are provided with regular training on water efficiency and water conservation awareness. Awareness-raising activities regarding water use are conducted throughout the organization. All employees are encouraged to contribute to water conservation efforts. 7. Continuous Improvement and Performance Monitoring Water consumption is regularly monitored through performance indicators. Targets are established, and progress toward achieving these targets is periodically evaluated. The system is continuously improved through internal audits and management reviews.
